Looking at the history of nation building, ideology of building a Garden City, and the aim to be self-sustainable in the Future.

The Memorial is designed as a journey through History, literally through walking up the ramp in clockwise direction symbolizing time, experiencing the various exhibition areas.

​

Tiny pockets of inward looking garden spaces are sprinkled throughout the Memorial, as one seeks for a place of respite after experiencing the exhibitions.
